putting Efforts & Hard work is fine but what you really need is a Smart Work..!

In this World Quality Matters than possessing a BE Degree.
Millions of BE Students gets Graduated Every Year from China ,India,Russia ,USA ,Iran ,Japan etc...
But not all are Employed because of Various Reason .It would Vary from skills to Attitude .

Talking about Skills :

If you can code in any single language . let it be C, Java, C++,Python ,Scala ,Ruby ,JScript or any other Language you specifically like to code on . You are Capable of becoming an Good Software Developer.

Remember All Programming Languages are Same .What makes them different is their Syntax.
if you are well versed in a particular language Switching to another Languages will not be that difficult. It Just requires some hours of practice.

So ,  if  you are new to programming field. I would Suggest you to learn C Language or Python as both of them are easy to learn for beginners . if you are a person who wants to write a concise and simple code Learn Python .
If you want to create your own websites learn HTML and CSS.
To make your website Dynamic you can use either Java or Python or Jscripts etc..
And if your Application Requires database support Basic Knowledge on SQL will help you out .

So In other words One Programming Language along with HTML ,CSS & SQL will make sure you get a Job.
But is this Enough ?

If you are trying to get job On-Campus you would be competing against few 100's .
But If you are trying to get job Off-Campus you would be competing against few 1000's .
While the Competition Increases  The Process becomes tougher and lengthier.
So Each and Every Company Follows their own process for Hiring .

An Good S/W Engineer is said to be the one who can Speak Elegantly, Think Logically, Code Efficiently.

So By Only Having Technical Skills is Really not Enough!!.

The Process

The process of Hiring Comes Down to 4 Rounds in General.

First Round:

Aptitude ,Logical Reasoning ,Verbal and Basic MCQs on C or Java programming Language.

Second Round:

Group Discussion or Telephonic Round or Coding Round.

Third Round:

Face to Face Interview with Hiring Manager.

Fourth Round:

To clear the Second Round, you need to have Knowledge on Current Trends if it is a Group Discussion .

To clear Third Round, you should possess Good Technical Skills that we Talked about .Also have Knowledge on Recent Technological Trends like Block Chain ,AI etc.. it will sure come in handy. And also your Confidence and Attitude while Answering to the interviewer will fetch you a Job .

(Tip : if you are Good at any External Activities Say Music, Dance, Drawing, Singing, Sports Do En-light the Interviewer with your Talent and Awards if you have won. Sometimes Company are More Interested to Hire Such Candidates to keep their work place Active and Joyful)

Same for the Fourth Round, Here you have to show how much you are interested to be part of the company.
and don't forget to apply the Tip 😜.

Technical Knowledge is Must to Survive . But without Talking Skills or Convincing the Interviewer  you will still be short of Getting that Job.
